What is the security deposit?
A refundable amount held against damage or loss, returned after we inspect the returned gear.
What this means
The deposit is not a rental charge. It is held for the length of the rental and returned in full when the gear comes back in the condition it left in.
When something is deducted
If there is damage, a missing item or a late return, the charge is explained to you and taken from the deposit. The rest is returned.
